		<description>Thanks for the insight. Diego, a partner at IDEO, says that he has a place to escape to get work done (has to). We&#039;re definitely thinking to have private spaces as well.</description>

		<description>I&#039;ve worked in the both traditional closed-cubicle offices (DDB Chicago and FamilyLearn) and open-space, collaboration-friendly settings (VSA Partners and Interstate Batteries). In my experience the latter is far superior for maximum productivity and constant team communication. The downside is incessant interruptions. So if you go the collaborative route, it is essential to create semi-removed meeting rooms where employees can go to work with a teammate, a group or all by themselves. You have to have a sanctuary to occasionally escape the distractions.</description>
